Earlier this week, Sony revealed that it was shutting down development on its “Xperia Home” launcher for its Android devices. Many have wondered what the company intended to use from this point forward and now, it’s been revealed that a new version of that launcher is being created.

In line with last-minute leaks, Sony today announced its 2018 flagships at MWC in Barcelona. Continuing a design trend that began on the mid-range at CES, Sony’s newest devices finally offer a new curvy design that houses an 18:9 display, reduced bezels, and more.
Sony’s flagship smartphone this year is the Xperia XZ Premium, and although the phone’s price of $800 is a lot to swallow, it certainly offers quite a lot with a true 4K display, excellent build, and more. Thanks to some newly discovered renders, we now have a look at its successor — the Xperia XZ1.
