After some initial problems earlier this week, Razer has confirmed that it is now fully compatible with Verizon in the United States. However, the Razer Phone 2 still isn’t officially available from the carrier. Instead, if you have the phone, you’ll need to manually activate the device for use on the network.

Not even a year after the original, Razer’s CEO Min-Liang Tan took to the stage tonight to officially unveil the Razer Phone 2. The device doesn’t completely revamp Razer’s mobile strategy, but it does fix many of the issues with the original including some major requests from fans.

A couple new hardware items have just hit Google’s online store – the just-announced Nest Protect (2nd gen) and Nest Cam, and Razer’s Forge TV.
A new report today supposedly confirms that Ouya, the company behind the Android-based gaming console, has been bought by Razer, a San Diego-based company best known for its hardware and accessories aimed at serious gamers. We first learned that Ouya was looking to sell the company in late April when a report claimed the company was struggling to manage its debt after less than stellar hardware reviews for its product.
