Following the announcement on Wednesday, Gemini is rolling out to Wear OS via a Play Store update, with the Google Assistant replacement already live for some users.

With the launch of Android 16 today, Google also announced the June 2025 Pixel Feature Drop. 

Google this morning announced the April 2025 Pixel Drop with just one feature. Notably, Gemini Live’s new Astra camera and screen sharing is available for free on the Pixel 9 series.

The March 2025 Feature Drop also brings a handful of updates to the Pixel Watch across health.

Alongside Android 15 QPR2, Google today announced the March 2025 Pixel (Feature) Drop with a slew of first-party app updates, as well as new camera and connectivity features. The OS and application updates are rolling out starting today.

The three generations of Pixel Watch are not getting an OTA update this month, but December 2024 Feature Drop does bring a handful of additions.

Following the unexpected January edition, Google is rolling out the March Pixel Feature Drop. Notably, it’s arriving today in all countries but the US, while stateside availability is not until March 11.

Google confirmed today that the January Pixel Feature Drop just consists of app updates from the Play Store. Meanwhile, the Google Store has emailed the 20% off discount codes for the Mint Pixel 8 and 8 Pro.

Google is giving the Pixel a surprise January 2024 Feature Drop that coincides with the Mint 8 and 8 Pro. This follows a big update in December and comes two months ahead of schedule. 

Generally speaking, Made by Google has six big software launches over the course of a year. Some of the quarterly Pixel Feature Drops are bigger than others, an observation that continued to be the case in 2023, while the other two moments are tied to the mid-year and fall hardware launches. 

Google is rolling out a pretty big December Feature Drop that notably adds Video Boost to the Pixel 8 Pro and other camera features, while Watch Unlock is finally here for the Pixel Watch.

With the launch of Android 14, Google is rolling out an October Pixel Feature Drop that particularly benefits the Fold and Tablet. It’s coming a month later than expected, with many of the additions part of the broader OS update.

After adding Fall Detection three months ago as part of its first big update, the next notable Pixel Watch release is here with three health and exercise features in the June Feature Drop.

After a week’s delay, the next Pixel Feature Drop is rolling out with Android 13 QPR3 and the June security patch to the Pixel 4a – 7a. Compared to the previous quarterly update, this is a big one.
