You know that Lenovo is close to unveiling their new devices when retailers start to accidentally leak them online. This happened today when the Moto G5 Plus showed up on a Spanish electronic retailer’s website. While the listing has since been removed, Redditors were able to grab screenshot images of the mid-tier device and its specs…

Earlier today Lenovo unveiled a new version of its Yoga Book tablet from last year, the Yoga A12. The new larger, more affordable machine offers lesser specifications, but with the added screen real-estate and larger footprint the update makes total sense. My biggest question? Why is this not a Chromebook?

There hasn’t been much excitement in the world of Android tablets, but one option that impressed us in 2016 was Lenovo’s unique Yoga Book. Featuring a custom Android build, futuristic “halo” keyboard, and capable hardware, it was an excellent machine. Now, the company has debuted a new variant of that laptop/tablet hybrid, the Yoga A12.

Update: Republic Wireless has posted on its community forums that Motorola is currently rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat as a soak test to a limited number of unlocked Moto Z devices. In the post, the mobile carrier also confirmed that Motorola should rollout the update to all unlocked Moto Z models on February 17 if everything goes as planned.
Motorola hasn’t been as good as they once were when it came to updating their handset in a timely manner. Years ago, some of their phones had been updated to the latest version of Android even before Nexus devices. This is a thing of the past, though, as some Moto devices are now months behind on updates. Thankfully, it seems Motorola is now slowly rolling out Nougat to the unlocked Moto Z…

There hasn’t been hardly anything exciting in the tablet world for a while now, but Lenovo’s recent release of the Yoga Book actually caught our attention with new features and a pretty solid overall value. However, it wasn’t anywhere near perfect. Now, it looks like Lenovo is giving the form factor another shot with a new Yoga Book model, this time with a larger display and more affordable price point.

Going into 2017, not much is known about Lenovo’s upcoming Moto lineup. The company reportedly opted out of making a new Moto 360 for Android Wear 2.0‘s launch, while their flagship device has yet to leak. However, Moto is planning (via CNET) an event on February 26th at MWC.

Late last year, renders claimed that Lenovo was reviving the Moto X in 2017. Images have surfaced today from somebody claiming to be selling an identical looking phone. However, the key difference is that the device in question is apparently the Moto G5 Plus.

Google Tango brings augmented reality to the masses by putting all required cameras and sensors to make the experience possible directly into a smartphone. This mobility then allows for organizations to incorporate AR into the world around us. The Detroit Institute of Arts is now using Tango to bring new life to their exhibits…

Last summer, when Lenovo announced the Moto Z and the Moto Mods, the company also announced they would be releasing a developer kit so that anyone could produce their own Mods. To help entice developers, Lenovo Capital stated that they had $1 million to help fund future Moto Mods. While Moto has been accepting Mod ideas since November, the company is also hosting hackathons to help kickstart even more creations…

With the introduction of its Moto Z line of phones, Motorola (or, rather, Lenovo) seemed to have put the X line aside, making its destiny a little unclear. However, a collaboration between Android Authority and the evergreen Steve Hemmerstoffer (better known as @OnLeaks) is shedding some light on it…

From always running the latest version of Android to “more opinionated” software customizations, there are many reasons Google’s Pixel is ‘one of the best phones‘ of this year. In an industry where smaller usually means degraded, I greatly appreciate the near identical specifications between the two screen sizes.
While I think the design of that phone is quite nuanced thanks to curved edges that further help holdability, the Pixel won’t be getting any awards in that department. However, there is a clear standout for the most interestingly designed phone of 2016. For better or worse, that title goes to the Moto Z in my view. And yes, I am primarily referring to its thinness.
It’s been few months since the phone launched and I’ve just recently gotten my hands on it, so I thought I would share some of my thoughts…

With a quiet online store unveiling, Lenovo has officially announced its new Edge smartphone, which figures under the company-backed Zuk brand. With its low price and good spec sheet, there’s quite a lot to love…

Earlier this year Lenovo announced its futuristic take on the 2-in-1 tablet with the Yoga Book. By ditching physical keys for an entirely touch experience, the Yoga Book created something truly unique. Right now, you can get the Yoga Book with either Android or Windows, but many have asked for a Chrome OS model. Now, Lenovo is confirming that new variant for next year.

A few years ago when Google announced Project Tango, it was something impressive, allowing our devices to see the world around us with detail they never could before. However, it felt like something so futuristic that we’d never see it. Then, Google released a 7-inch Tango developer kit to show off the tech. It was cool, but expensive and not at all aimed at consumers.
Then, in early 2016, Google and Lenovo announced plans to release the world’s first consumer device running Tango, and needless to say, we were pretty excited.
Now, that device is here ─ the Lenovo Phab2 Pro. I’ve been using this giant, powerful, impressive phone for the past several days, so let’s answer the question, who should actually buy it?

Chromebooks have come a long way over the past few years, but we still see a ton of misconceptions surrounding the platform from the average consumer. That’s a big hurdle for OEMs trying to market Chromebooks, but now Lenovo is firing back on Chromebook myths in a new ad for its ThinkPad 13 Chromebook.

There is a reason why many analysts and pundits are skeptical of big acquisitions, and one of the main reasons is that big companies merged into one entity rarely do so organically.
One example could be Lenovo‘s acquisition of Motorola in 2014, the result of which has ostensibly influenced the reshuffling now taking place at the company…

We’ve seen leaks regarding the Moto M for a few months and last night Lenovo made the phone official in the Chinese market. As expected, this is a mid-range smartphone with a premium all-metal design and mid-range specifications.

Motorola’s big feature with the Moto Z family is Moto Mods — easy to use “modular” attachments for the phone that add extra capabilities such as better speakers, extra battery life, enhanced camera capabilities, and more. However, that’s not all Moto had in mind…

Google has today released its Tango platform out into the world, and the first phone to get the new AR capabilities from Google is Lenovo’s Phab2 Pro. We first told you about the Phab2 Pro when it was announced at a Lenovo event back in June, and now it’s finally available online and at retail for $500…

After being announced at IFA 2016 ─ and following a brief period of exclusivity at Verizon ─ the Moto Z Play is now available unlocked for $449…

At IFA 2016, Lenovo had a lot of fun new products to show us such as the Moto Z Play, a few new laptops, and a new Moto Mod as well. The biggest thing that was revealed however was a new tablet, the YOGA Book.

Early this year Lenovo revealed that it had been working with Google to develop and release the first consumer device with Google’s Project Tango. Later in the year, Lenovo announced that the device would be releasing during the summer, only be to delayed yet again, apparently to November…

After yet another slew of heavy layoffs, the Motorola we have always known may very well be considered dead. However, its parent company Lenovo is trying to do its best not to make us think so, this time playing the nostalgia card…
