RCS messaging isn’t the silver bullet for cross-platform communications that it ought to be, but it’s a start – especially for iPhone-heavy regions where messaging can be an ordeal. With the launch of iOS 18 this fall, the iPhone will support RCS for meaningfully improved messaging experience with Android users, and Google today released an ad to highlight that.
