Following the Google Store’s $100 back offer on the Pixel 2 XL that ended just yesterday, the online retailer is now giving customers who finance the phone’s purchase $200 in statement credits and a free 18W USB-C charger.
After passing through the FCC last week, Google Clips is now available for purchase on the Google Store. The AI-powered smart camera will begin shipping at the end of next month for $249.
Like with the original Pixel phones, Google last year released a special edition “Kinda Blue” variant that was limited at launch in the U.S. to Verizon. Today, that color is now available as an Unlocked model on the Google Store and through Project Fi.
The Pixelbook continues in the grand tradition of Chromebooks made by Google featuring ridiculously high-end configurations. Announced in October, the most premium Pixelbook specification is now available from the Google Store with the holiday discount and Home speaker offer. Meanwhile, shipping to receive Store orders by Christmas ends today.
Back in September, the Google Store and Project Fi unveiled a trade-in program to get credits towards a new device. However, one critique that quickly emerged was the flimsy packaging Google was sending out to ship phones back for appraisal. Weeks later, Google has finally remedied the situation.
The Google Store rolled out a suite of deals on Black Friday, but on Cyber Monday announced a new set of offers on its most in-demand items. A Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL purchase nabs a Google Home Mini and $100 store credit. Meanwhile, the first Pixelbook offer throws in a Google Home.
Since their October launch, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have sporadically been in stock on the Google Store. This evening, 2017’s Made by Google phones in all unlocked configurations are available with not too outrageous ship dates.
Announced on October 4th at the Made by Google event in San Francisco, the new Daydream View is now available for purchase on the Google Store. Visiting the Google Daydream page between then and now presented you with an option to join a waitlist, but now you can give Google your $99 if you want.

Google will be selling products at its brick-and-mortar pop-up shops starting this year, Google has confirmed to The Verge. We’ve known about these pop-up shops set to open this week since earlier this month (and Google’s site said “Shop”, so we assumed you’d be able to shop), but now we know for sure that you’ll be able to walk in and purchase some of Google’s new products.
Following some minor outrage last week that the Pixel’s USB-C to 3.5 mm dongle cost an exorbitant amount, Google slashed the price of the accessory today. At $9, the dongle received an over 50% discount and is now much more reasonably priced.
Today’s Google event focused on phones, speakers, and AI over all else. What’s interesting is that the company not even one time mentioned Android Wear. Well, that story gets a bit more interesting when you look closer at the Google Store. After today’s new releases went up for pre-order, the store got a fresh coat of paint, and Android Wear disappeared from it completely without anyone noticing…

The Google Store’s program has now added Pixel and Pixel XL trade-in values, which are likely in preparation for next week’s product announcements.
Alongside today’s announcement and launch of Android One in the US, Google’s Project Fi is also introducing a trade-in program that’ll allow users to send in old devices to receive a credit that can be used to purchase a new phone. Based on a new support page, it appears that a similar program is coming to the Google Store, potentially in time for the Pixel 2 launch…
In its lifetime, the Nexus 6P has suffered from a spate of issues ranging from bootloops to early battery shutdowns. As such, owners have had to replace their phones, with some having to repeat the process several times. About a week ago, Google appears to have begun shipping Pixel XLs as replacement devices for affected customers.
With the purchase of a Pixel XL already netting buyers a free Google Home, the Google Store is now discounting its line of first-party cases. Two types of cases for both the Pixel and Pixel XL are being offered at 50% off while supplies last.
Stock for the Google Pixel, which launched almost 5 months ago, is still hit or miss. As of the time of this writing, the 5-inch Pixel is completely out of stock on the Google Store and the 5.5-inch Pixel XL is almost completely out of stock as well. There was one random day this month that stock suddenly reappeared in full, but the story since October has been mostly just that: random.
While any company as big and with as many resources as Google should definitely have been able to figure out stock for the phone by this point — 4 and a half months after launch — I think the complaints of many would be somewhat mitigated if the Google would just let customers backorder the phone and quote some future shipping date…
Since its launch, it’s been pretty hit or miss to pick up either of Google’s new Pixel smartphones because for the majority of the time, many variants of the Pixel have been completely out of stock. The Pixel XL has been the main culprit here, with some models being out of stock for months at this point. Today, though, nearly every Pixel model is back in stock.

While the extremely customizable Live Case gets the main billing in advertising for the Pixel and Pixel XL, Google also sells a microfiber-lined silicone case. Only available in Grey at launch, the $35 case is now available in multiple bright colors.
While Android tablets leave much to be desired, there is a clear winner if you are intending to buy one today. As named in our best tablets guide of 2016, the 64GB Pixel C and its cool magnetic keyboard is seeing a pretty hefty discount.
Google announced the Daydream View in three colors, but only had the Slate model available at launch. In time for the holidays and the end of year expiration date on the Pixel pre-order promotion, View is now available in Crimson and Snow.
Along with third-party case makers, Google has slowly been releasing official case options through the Google Store for the Pixel and Pixel XL. Now, Google has added four more options for Pixel and Pixel XL users.
