Google Pixel Buds

Pixel Buds A-Series officially launched in the US and Canada last week after being announced at the start of June. The 2nd-gen Pixel Buds are now completely “out of stock” in those two countries in a possible sign that Google has discontinued the headphones.
Expand Expanding CloseToday, Google launched its widely-leaked, more affordable earbuds, the Pixel Buds A-Series. The $99 buds aren’t really all that different compared to their $180 big brother, but because of that, we have to address the elephant in the room: Does Pixel Buds A-Series suffer from the same audio cutouts as the originals?
Expand Expanding CloseThe last update to Pixel Buds with an accompanying changelog came in September with a fix for audio cutouts, while that was preceded by a feature drop the month before. One upcoming new capability for the Pixel Buds could be the ability to see remaining battery life in hours on Android 12.

Expand Expanding CloseGoogle’s Pixel Buds were praised when they first came out for their comfortable design, awesome features, and more. In the year since, though, they’ve also been associated with infuriating Bluetooth connection issues and other things. So are Pixel Buds actually worth buying at their current $129 price?
Expand Expanding CloseAs we’ve reported and spotted, Google’s next wireless earbuds are the “Pixel Buds A.” The launch of a presumed cheaper model should not impact the second-generation pair launched a year ago. That said, the Pixel Buds are no longer available in Oh So Orange.

Audio wearables are a very active category right now with rampant competition, and it would be smart for Made by Google not to wait 2-3 years before releasing another product, especially since there are many places they can take the line.
