A week ago at Google I/O 2022, we saw some interesting new launch announcements including a brand new wave of products — some of which we won’t see fully until later this fall.

If you were ever wondering how committed Google is to its Pixel lineup, today’s showing at I/O makes it pretty clear with a whopping six new products. What was your most exciting reveal?

Google’s annual I/O developer conference doesn’t just include new software-related announcements, a new wave of Made by Google hardware products is also expected to launch. So we want to know what you’re most excited about.

Leaks have been few and far between over the past few weeks, but we already have a fair idea of what the Pixel 6a might bring to the table if it does get an I/O 2022 unveil. That begs the question, are you planning on buying the Pixel 6a when it’s available?

For the privacy-conscious, the Camera and Mic access toggles that Google introduced with Android 12 can provide peace of mind, and are generally more convenient than disabling those permissions outright for an app. By design, they’re quite strict and can be overly so, with there being upsides to future versions of Android introducing more granularity.

As we reported at the start of this year, a tentatively named “Chromecast HD with Google TV” is in the works. It will presumably be cheaper than the existing $49.99 dongle and be closer in price to the $29.99 Chromecast. Once that new device launches, one interesting question is whether Google will still sell a streamer that is powered by its original Cast operating system?

After years of stagnation, Android 12 brought renewed attention to widgets on the OS. Google introduced a number of new tools for developers and revamped its first-party offerings. With all these changes, are you using widgets more?

After a lull with the Pixel 5 in 2020, it’s hard to argue that Google listened to fans and went right back to the drawing board with a reinvented and reenvisioned flagship Pixel 6 series in 2021. Early leaks indicate that the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will pack modest upgrades but we’re wondering just where the bulk of changes will come from.

Samsung’s latest flagship phones have arrived, with the Galaxy S22 and S22+ delivering moderate upgrades and the Galaxy S22 Ultra the Note reincarnate. You’ve probably learned a lot about these phones from our coverage, but surely there are a few more things you want to know. With nearly a month until it starts shipping, what are you biggest questions about the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra?

After my fourth or fifth switch back-and-forth between the latest flagship duo, I’m beginning to feel that while the bigger, more capable Pro model is objectively better, it doesn’t quite exude the same charm as the smaller, approachable, and infinitely more “fun” Pixel 6.

In YouTube’s 2022 Priorities letter, CEO Susan Wojcicki cited podcasting (just before NFTs) as an additional source of revenue for Creators. Podcasts already exist on the site as videos, but this is the latest mention that strongly implies that YouTube is going to provide a more dedicated experience. What form could YouTube Podcasts take and does that sound like something you’d use?

After the disaster that was the December 2021 update for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, Google pushed back the patch to January in a bid to resolve lingering issues and a few major problems.

Despite chip shortages and other issues, 2021 was a pretty great year for smartphones. We saw continued improvements to new form factors, the arrival of potential game-changers, and more. What was your favorite Android phone of 2021?

To the left of most Android homescreens is a feed that “actively tunes itself to a user’s interests and displays content that aligns with those interests.” This is Google Discover and something that people have many varying opinions about that are rooted in what it replaced: Google Now.

We don’t yet know the official launch date for the Pixel 6 or 6 Pro, but for Google, a lot is riding on the upcoming flagship duo. What’s also interesting is just what specific device people are looking at picking up.

Google has confirmed that it is set to exclude the charger from the box with the upcoming Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, positing an environmental stance as the reason why. With rumors of faster charging, it might mean that to get the fastest charge speeds, you’ll now need to pick up a separate accessory.

After a fairly quiet launch, the Pixel 5a with 5G is now available in a very limited capacity, and so we want to know if you are considering one, or if it’s a definite buy for you.
