Google Play now has a dedicated section for offline games

Site default logo image

Offline-Games

Not all Android games are created equally. Some file downloads are massive and well over a gigabyte in size, while others only require a few megabytes to get you up and running. The most perplexing thing about mobile games is that some titles require a connection to the internet, even after you’ve installed the game to your device.

z3side

The Xperia Z2 recently went on sale in the US and it appears that its successor is already in development. Today, popular gadget leaker @evleaks revealed two pictures of a device referred to as the Sony Xperia Z3. At first sight the device looks noticeably thin and it appears to have three different ports on its side (or maybe two ports and audio controls), along with some type of large round button. Although we’re not sure what the silver knob is for, considering its size, we’d guess that it could be used as a dedicated camera control.

Google founder Sergey Brin poses for a portrait wearing Google Glass glasses before the Diane von Furstenberg Spring/Summer 2013 collection show during New York Fashion Week

Although Google Glass is available to the public, it’s understandable that the wearable tech isn’t welcomed everywhere, however being barred from a convention full of nerds has a special kind of sting. Comic-Con is currently underway and while the San Diego Convention Center is packed to the gills with cosplayers, anyone dressed up as Google co-founders Sergey Brin or Larry Page better not be wearing Glass — at least not during the show’s video screening panels.
