Wyze’s new ‘Ultra Bodyscan’ weight scale has Fitbit and Health Connect integration

Wyze has just launched a new “Ultra Bodyscan” weight scale that works with Fitbit and Android Health Connect, but does a lot more than just take your weight.

Wyze has a lineup of scale options priced as low as $40. But the new Wyze Scale Ultra Bodyscan is a “flagship” device that Wyze says comes with “professional-grade precision, right at home.” That added precision comes in the form of 13 body composition metrics and a handlebar that can not only provide more information, but help you pinpoint where your weight loss (or gain) is taking place. Wyze explains:

Receive deeper insights into your health with an extendable handle and 8 smart electrodes across both hands and feet. These work together to measure your arms, legs, and torso individually.

Each measurement also comes with an in-depth breakdown of your body composition in a detailed PDF report, alongside the in-app details too.

Beyond just the Wyze app, though, you can also connect the Scale Ultra Bodyscan to Fitbit, Apple Health, or any other health app that works with Android’s Health Connect. That makes it a pretty compelling option for those using the new Fitbit experience, especially seeing as Fitbit’s own Aria Air doesn’t work with the new app right now.
