TCL is introducing a new lineup of Google TV sets with premium screens, but a more affordable starting price.
The new TCL T7 series is a collection of 4K HDR QLED TVs that are powered by Google TV and offer “cinematic picture quality and ultra-smooth performance” at a lower price. In other words, it’s a series of mid-tier TVs that are sure to have broad appeal.
TCL’s T7 series uses QLED displays for improved picture quality and color accuracy and combines that with a 144Hz native refresh rate on the 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes. The smallest 55-inch size has a 120Hz native refresh rate. TCL touts high brightness from all models and supports HDR10, HDR10+, Open HDR, HLG, and Dolby Vision.
The whole show is powered by TCL’s AiPQ Pro processor, and Google TV is available out of the box with built-in mics for “Hey Google” voice commands.
Pricing breaks down as follows:
- TCL T7 55-inch – $599.99
- TCL T7 65-inch – $699.99
- TCL T7 75-inch – $899.99
- TCL T7 85-inch – $1,399.99
There’s no release date just yet.
