After restarting the program last October, the US Google Store is now selling a refurbished Pixel 8, while details about the Pixel 8 Pro are here.
The Refurbished Pixel 8 is $489 (versus $699 originally) for 128GB of storage, while it’s $539 for 256GB. Mint is only available in the smaller capacity, while Hazel, Obsidian, and Rose are the other colors.
Once available, the Refurbished Pixel 8 Pro will be $699 ($300 off) for 128GB. No other sizes are currently listed, while all four colors — Mint, Bay, Obsidian, and Porcelain — are out of stock today.

These devices will get OS and security updates (7 years) until October 2030, with Google installing the latest version out of the box.
This joins the $359 Pixel 7, $539 Pixel 7 Pro, and $339 Pixel 7a, which recently got a price cut.

Certified Refurbished Pixel devices have their batteries, cameras, housing, and screens inspected for issues. If there are problems, any repairs use new, authentic Google parts, while there’s a 1-year warranty.
The Pixel 8 series features Google’s previous design language, which is more rounded and comfortable in hand. It’s powered by Tensor G3 with some Gemini Nano capabilities. Other key specs include:
| Pixel 8 | Pixel 8 Pro | |
| Screen | 6.2-inch | 6.7-inch (LTPO) |
| Battery | 4575 mAh | 5050 mAh |
| RAM | 8GB | 12GB |
| Wide camera | 50 MP Octa PD | 50 MP Octa PD |
| Ultrawide | 12 MP | 48 MP Quad PD |
| Telephoto | n/a | 48 MP Quad PD |
In terms of value, the Pixel 9a is $499, with design probably the biggest reason to not get anything newer. However, you’ll get a better deal if you look elsewhere, especially going into the holiday season next month.
