Report: Samsung’s Android XR headset could be unveiled in less than two weeks

According to a new report, Samsung’s Android XR headset “Project Moohan” will see a release date of October 22, and it may be revealed a week prior to that.

ChosunBiz reports that Samsung plans to make its first Android XR product, the “Project Moohan” headset, available for purchase starting on October 22. That aligns with multiple prior reports, and also means we’re just a few weeks out from the launch.

The report further mentions that pre-orders will be open starting on October 15, which suggests that we’re less than two weeks out from a launch for the headset.

It’s been reported that Samsung’s Android XR headset will cost at least $1,800, and that Samsung doesn’t have particularly lofty goals for the number of units shipped. Other reports have mentioned the quality of the displays being used.
