Following the news that OnePlus and Hasselblad are breaking up their partnership, the first camera samples from OnePlus 15 instill confidence that the next device will still be a photographic contender.
In the Chinese version of its blog post about the end of the Hasselblad partnership and debut of its “Lumo” imaging system (apparently called “DetailMax Engine” in other regions), OnePlus shared a trio of images from the OnePlus 15.
These new pictures are all from the 85mm-equivalent telephoto lens and, well, they look pretty great.
The image of the ram is very sharp, while the photo with the dog has plenty of text and color in it. The last image of a woman holding flowers is the least impressive of the bunch, but only because of some chromatic aberration at the side. The colors of the image are vibrant and look grea otherwise.

At NotebookCheck points out, this teaser also hints that OnePlus is upgrading its telephoto lens this year, as the OnePlus 13 had a 73mm-equivalent instead.
What do you think of these initial samples?
