Ahead of their launch later this month, new regulatory leaks reiterate the size of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL batteries while also hinting at minor repairability improvements.
Leaks over the past few months have already told us to expect bigger batteries from the entire Pixel 10 series. Looking at the core series in particular, the upgrades are as follows:
- Pixel 10: 4,970 mAh, up from 4,700 mAh
- Pixel 10 Pro: 4,870 mAh, up from 4,700 mAh
- Pixel 10 Pro XL: 5,200 mAh, up from 5,060 mAh
Now, regulatory labels from the EU as spotted by YTechB are further reiterating these upgrades. These labels give each phone a grade on a scale from “A” to “G,” with the entire Pixel 10 series either scoring an “A” or “B” on that scale. The scale takes lifespan, durability, repairability, and other factors into consideration.
The base Pixel 10 gets a “B” score, down from the “A” score on the base Pixel 9, though the two measure up quite closely so it’s unclear why there’s a difference. But what’s notable is that the rated battery capacity is 4,835 mAh, lining up with an advertsied/typical capacity of 4,970 mAh. The Pixel 9’s rated capacity was 4,558 mAh. The difference in runtime appears minimal, though, with the time going from 49:12 to 49:23.
Meanwhile, Pixel 10 Pro gets an “A” with its battery which is rated at 4,707 mAh, again up from the 4,558 mAh of last year’s device. Estimated runtime also goes up a bit from 50:44 on the Pixel 9 Pro to 51:09 on the Pixel 10 Pro.
Finally, Pixel 10 Pro XL gets a “B” with its 5,078 mAh battery, up from last year’s 4,942 mAh battery. Somehow, though, this one dropped in estimated runtime from Pixel 9 Pro XL’s 49:30 result to 48:39.

All three devices are said to sustain battery endurance, on default settings, through 1,000 cycles and survived 270 free-fall drop tests without any battery problems.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro also get some minor repairability improvements, it seems, with their scores upgrading from a “C” on last year’s models to a “B.” The actual changes aren’t mentioned, though, so we’ll likely have to wait for an explanation from Google or a teardown.

The Google Pixel 10 series launches on August 20.
