The Android Find My Device network rollout was fraught with issues, but luckily, Samsung has arguably the best trackers available as part of a SmartTag2 4-pack for just $64.99 on Amazon right now.
Despite some early promise, it’s hard to look past the Moto Tag if you want to track your things and are insistent on using the Find Hub (formerly Find My Device) network. Some of the safety settings that activate by default make it a poor imitation of what Apple has done with its own Find My network.

Luckily, Samsung has a solution that actually works and has been consistently the most accurate in our testing. The SmartTag2 trackers are, therefore, the best option for any Android user. The catch is that these won’t work with a non-Samsung device. The best trackers are limited to Galaxy phones and tablets, but are, simply put, the best alternative to Air Tags on the platform. If you have a Samsung phone, we can’t recommend them highly enough at just $65.
You can get them to work with most Android phones using a hacky method involving a modified uTag app. However, we would not recommend that as it can be buggy — which isn’t ideal if you lose your possessions.

For anyone who doesn’t have a Samsung phone or tablet and isn’t willing to use a third-party modded app. Chipolo is offering a 4-pack of the POP Android compatible trackers for $75, too. They do lack UWB and are fairly basic trackers, but work with Find Hub/Find My Device network and might be helpful if you only require simple tracking for your belongings. The flash of color is a nice extra touch that lots of other trackers lack.
