Galaxy S25 Edge price reportedly ‘finalized,’ but initial supply will be limited

As expected, Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to cost just a bit more than the Galaxy S25+, as a new report claims that Samsung has “finalized” the price.

FNNews reports (via @Jukanlosreve) that Samsung has “finalized” the price of the Galaxy S25 Edge. In South Korea, that price will be KRW 1,500,000 for the 256GB base model, and KRW 1,630,000 for the 512GB variant.

Directly converted, that’s around $1,030 for the base model, and $1,120 for the higher-storage option. However, those prices likely won’t convert to USD in exactly that way. To get a better picture of Samsung’s pricing strategy, we can look at the cost of the rest of the Galaxy S25 series in South Korea.

Galaxy S25 Ultra costs just shy of KRW 1,700,000, and sells for $1,299 in the US. Galaxy S25+ costs KRW 1,353,000, and Galaxy S25 costs KRW 1,115,000 while those devices sell for $999 and $799 in the US. As such, it seems likely that Samsung is going to price the Galaxy S25 Edge around $1,099 or $1,199 in the US, slotting in between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. A previous report hinted at a price around $1,000.

However, if you are looking to get the company’s ultra-thin smartphone, it might not be all that easy. The same report claims that Samsung is only producing 40,000 units for its initial run, with sales starting in “major” markets such as the US and Korea, with others to follow. The report also reiterates an April launch with May availability.
