Lenovo unveils Snapdragon X2-powered Yoga PC alongside other new Windows laptops

Since Qualcomm expanded into developing Windows CPUs, Lenovo has offered a small number of laptops powered by the Snapdragon X Elite. With the Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Plus on the market, Lenovo is giving the Yoga PC series a needed update.

The Yoga Slim 7x is one of many releases from Lenovo during CES 2026. The company has built a reputation for developing some exceptional PCs and devices that cater to professionals and gamers alike, and it’s one of a few that are trying out Qualcomm’s latest SoCs.

Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 7x 2026 is an upgraded model from last year’s Snapdragon PC that went by the same name. That laptop offered users access to the Snapdragon X Elite SoC. This year, the Yoga Slim 7x will bring both the Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Plus with a few variants between each model.

At 1.7 kilograms, the Yoga Slim 7x is a lightweight option that only takes up 13.9mm of space when closed. Inside that thin chassis is a battery that can operate for up to 29 hours of use on a single charge, though mileage often varies between users based on applications used.

The laptop features a 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and Lenovo notes that the display works well to recreate deep blacks even in sunlight. That’s a plus for creative users who need to use their device on the go, away from the office or fluorescent lighting. It isn’t the largest laptop out there at 14 inches, but it gets the job done while offering versatility.

Lenovo says the Yoga Slim 7x will be available in Q2 2026, starting at $949.99, presumably for the Snapdragon X2 Plus model in Cosmic Blue. Expect the Snapdragon X2 Elite variant to start at a higher price.
