Uncovered LED strips have become a thing of the past as more natural and vibrant lighting options come out, like Govee’s Floor Lamp 3 and ceiling lights that mimic sunlight and provide a canvas for art.
During CES 2026, Govee has set up three new launches. The first of which is a Floor Lamp upgrade that brings some changes to the standard wall-facing LED bar design. The new model introduces a feature the company calls “LuminBlend+” to the smart home. In essence, that tech allows the company to replicate light temperatures from 1,000K to 10,000K.
The lamp also mimics daylight to a comfortable degree, as do all three additions. To a less comfortable degree, Govee’s new lights use AI to “react to mood or context in real time.” That comes as an upgrade to the company’s AI Lighting Bot 2.0, which Govee says will extend across a “wide range of Govee products.”
Those features extend to two new ceiling lights from Govee – Ceiling Light Ultra and Sky Ceiling Light. The Ceiling Light Ultra looks like a really neat addition to the home. Rather than a standard LED fixture, the base diffuser of the light offers up a sort of display. It isn’t a generic smart device display, as it looks more like a canvas-style display that showcases unique artwork designed in the app by the user.
The Sky Ceiling Light is less of a conversation starter, but it caters to users who want a more comfortable experience. The light mimics daylight and circadian rhythm, designed explicitly for windowless rooms.
Govee also announced that all three devices will be compatible with Samsung SmartThings for the first time, alongside Matter, Google Home, and Alexa. Details on pricing and availability don’t seem to be available yet.
