Launching in early January, the Moto G Power (2026) is another variation on the familiar mid-range formula Motorola has been toying around with as of late.
Following up on the Moto G (2026) and Moto G Stylus (2026) that were announced last month, the Moto G Power (2026) is yet another tweak on that same core setup, though with a couple of key upgrades
The main chipset is the same with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, but it’s paired with 8GB of RAM instead of 4GB, the same 128GB of storage, Android 16, and a slightly larger 6.8-inch 120Hz LCD display. Motorola says this display can hit up to 1,000 nits in “high brightness mode.”
Despite the “Power” moniker, the battery isn’t any bigger at 5,200 mAh, but this model does get 30W charging over USB-C. Notably, wireless charging has been removed after showing up in the last two generations.
The camera array is make up of a 50MP primary rear sensor and an 8MP ultrawide – as well as a light sensor that companies insist on pretending is a camera – with a 32MP front-facing camera. The Power also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and is IP68/IP69 dust and water resistant.
The Moto G Power (2026) will be available starting January 8 for $299.99, $100 more than the base Moto G (2026). It will be sold at Motorola’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy, as well as through carriers starting with Verizon in “Evening Blue” and “Pure Cashmere” colors.
