Google rolling out Pixel Camera 10.2

Google is rolling out the latest update to Pixel Camera this week with version 10.2.

Update: With the Pixel 10 series, Google made it so that the shadow slider is at the top and brightness is on the bottom. That arrangement is different from all other devices. On older phones, there are no changes to that order (brightness = top | shadow = bottom) or slider design with this update. We apologize for the error. (Thanks tipster)

Quick access controls were introduced last year. With a tap of the viewfinder, you get sliders on the left and right sides to adjust white balance, brightness, and shadows.

On the Pixel 10 series, the first slider is for shadows and brightness is below. Google also tweaked the circular icons in the drag handle.

Pixel 9 vs. Pixel 10 Pro

We haven’t noticed any major changes today. The December 2025 update noted “General improvements for camera stability under certain conditions” for the Pixel 9 – Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

Pixel Camera 10.2.095.834499094.08 is not yet widely rolled out via the Play Store.
