Google TV has just revealed the most-watched movies and TV shows of 2025 from viewers on the platform, while also rolling out its latest advent calendar.
For the past few years, Google TV has been putting out lists of its top movies and TV shows, and the 2025 list includes some popular titles. In the movie category, DC’s Superman reboot took the top spot through HBO Max, with Sinners and Amazon’s The Pickup following behind. In TV shows, Amazon’s Reacher took the top spot.

Google TV is also rolling out its latest advent calendar, a tradition established during the 2023 Christmas season. The interactive calendar is sponsored by Target this year, and contains 25 shows and movies around the holiday. Clicking each day reveals a new piece of content, with the first day being The Polar Express.
