You can get a brand new Galaxy Z Flip 6 for $550 – Flip 7 FE remains pointless

Samsung’s “budget” Galaxy Z Flip FE remains pointless, as a new deal offers a brand-new Galaxy Z Flip 6 for just $550.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 may be a little over a year old at this point, but it’s still the second-best flip phone in Samsung’s lineup. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 delivers bigger displays, improved battery life, and more, but the last-gen model has a Snapdragon chipset and almost all of the same features.

That’s why a $550 Galaxy Z Flip 6 is so compelling.

Woot has that offer at the moment, with a brand new “Silver Shadow” Galaxy Z Flip 6 being available for $549.99. That’s not for the base model either, it’s for the 512GB option, making this a device that’s 55% off of its retail pricing.

It’s also a reminder that Samsung’s “budget” focused Galaxy Z Flip FE is completely pointless.

Based on the same hardware device, the Flip FE has a much worse processor and far less storage (starting at 128GB) while starting at $899. It’s already tough to recommend that device when $200 buys a Flip 7 with a far better experience and twice the storage, but when you can buy the exact same hardware, but better, for hundreds less? Yeah, you should do that.

Woot’s Flip 6 deal is available for 8 days at the time of this article being posted, or until stock runs out. The “Mint” variant is already sold out.
