Wyze is launching a new tilt and pan camera that just needs an hour of sunlight to keep running.
Available starting today, the Wyze Solar Cam Pan is the latest addition to the company’s tilt-and-pan lineup. This new option is similar to the base Cam Pan V3, but with the addition of a built-in solar panel. The panel can be directly mounted alongside the camera itself, or mounted nearby on a wire to get better sun exposure.
Wyze says that the high-efficiency ETFE solar panel needs just an hour of sunlight per day for continuous power with a battery inside that keeps the camera running when solar charging isn’t available. Like other tilt-and-pan cameras from Wyze, it can obtain a 360-degree view and 70-degree vertical view. The camera itself is a 2K sensor with color night vision.
The Wyze Solar Cam Pan is available starting today for $79.98 and should be on Wyze’s website as well as Amazon.
