Samsung revives Galaxy Z Fold 7 and S25 boosted trade-ins up to $1,000, free storage upgrade

Deals with Samsung Galaxy devices don’t generally get as good as they were during launch. For a limited time, the company is bringing some of those deals back with up to $1,000 off the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and boosted trade-ins for the Galaxy S25 series with free storage upgrades.

During launch, Samsung was offering trade-in deals that went above and beyond what the company usually offers for used devices. With a phone that costs $1,999, trading another phone in for a heavy discount is one of the best ways to upgrade.

Right now, Samsung looks to be offering similar deals to launch day. Users can get up to $1,000 off with a trade-in. That would bring the foldable down to $999. Add on top the free storage upgrade we rarely see available, and you have a 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 7 for $999.

DeviceValue
Galaxy Z Fold 6$1,000
Galaxy Z Fold 5$900
Galaxy S25 Ultra$1,000
Galaxy S24 Ultra$800
Galaxy S25 Plus$700

The Galaxy S25 series is also getting some hefty discounts, though nothing as incredible as the foldables get.

Samsung is offering boosted trade-ins for the Galaxy S25 Ultra up to $700 off. That applies to the Galaxy S24 Ultra in a like-for-like upgrade. If you plan on trading a Galaxy S23 Ultra in, expect a $530 discount. The same goes for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The Galaxy S25 Ultra also comes with a free storage upgrade to 512GB, which is generally a $240 step up.

With the right trade-in, the Galaxy S25 Ultra comes down to $599.

The middle child, and probably the best device for its price, is the Galaxy S25 Plus. Again, users can get a free storage upgrade to 512GB. It looks like the trade-in max is $500 right now, though that seems to change often. For the Galaxy S24 Ultra, you can expect a $500 credit. If you trade the Galaxy S24 Plus in, $480 will be returned.

That brings the Galaxy S25 Plus down to $519 with a storage upgrade.

All of these deals offer free shipping. It would be wild if they didn’t. With that, Samsung orders garner rewards points, which do allow for deals on accessories and other products through the site.

The company is also running some great deals on wearables, like the Galaxy 8 Classic. This is all while the company gears up to launch the new Galaxy TriFold device this month.
