Ahead of the Pixel Watch 4 launching next week, the majority of Google’s Wear OS apps now have Material 3 Expressive redesigns, with Home and Keep being the most recent updates.
Like the phone and tablet version, Google Keep for Wear OS now has Material 3 Expressive. This is a more thorough redesign compared to other first-party watch apps.
The Create note Tile goes from a two-item list to large side-by-side buttons. “Note” is a vertical pill and “List” is a rounded rectangle, while “Browse” hugs the bottom curve of the screen. Similarly, Single note sees the contents placed in a rectangular container, while the name appears above and the count for additional items (in the case of lists) appear below.

Upon opening the app, the ‘plus’ FAB is placed in a thicker pill, with buttons throughout the app updated in a similar fashion. When viewing a note, Add reminder, Unpin, and Archive at the very bottom goes from a list to side-by-side buttons that are more compact.
Material 3 Expressive is widely rolling out with version 5.25.392.x of Google Keep for Wear OS.

Google Home got the new gradient icon this week, though it’s placed on a transparent/black background on Wear OS 5. The Home Favorites and Remote Control (Google TV) Tiles have been updated to be more compact, while containers are leveraged in the full app.

The vast majority of Google offerings have gotten M3 Expressive Tile or app redesigns:
