This new Find Hub wallet tracker from UGreen is ultra-thin with 5-year battery life

Find Hub trackers are pretty widely available at this point, but many of the credit card-sized wallet trackers are a bit on the thick side. That’s where UGreen’s new Find Hub wallet tracker steps in, with an ultra-thin design and 5-year battery life.

UGreen is a brand best known for its power banks and charging accessories, but it has a lot of other products available too.

One of those is a credit card-sized wallet tracker. UGreen first launched this product for iPhone users earlier this year, but has now expanded to Android with support for Find Hub in the “FineTrack Slim Smart G” tracker. Our colleagues at 9to5Toys first spotted the tracker on Amazon, with it having quietly launched earlier this month.

The standout selling point on this UGreen tracker for Find Hub is the form factor. You’ll find plenty of card-sized trackers from brands such as Chipolo, Pebblebee, Rolling Square, and others, but UGreen is offering a tracker that’s thinner than all of them. At 1.7mm, it’s roughly 20-30% thinner than comparable Chipolo and Pebblebee trackers. That might not matter in some wallets, but especially in smaller MagSafe-style wallets, every fraction of a millimeter counts.

Despite the thin design, UGreen claims 5 years of battery life and says the tracker is IP68 rated against dust and water. It’s also priced competitively at around $25, though you might find coupons to take the price down a little further depending on when you buy.

What’s the catch? Well, this is a one-and-done product. Like prior Chipolo card trackers, UGreen’s tracker can’t be recharged. Once the battery expires, you’ll need to “replace” it, though UGreen’s listing doesn’t explain how to do that. It’s a notable change, especially as the Apple-compatible version is rechargeable with an included cable.

You can buy the UGreen FineTrack Slim Smart G for Android’s Find Hub on Amazon.
