Nothing Ear (3), the company’s fourth-generation earbuds, are launching ‘soon’

Nothing has just confirmed that it will soon be launching Nothing Ear (3), its fourth-generation earbuds, are launching “soon.”

In its typically vague style, Nothing has revealed in a teaser that the Nothing Ear (3) earbuds are coming “soon.” There’s no date mentioned, but the company’s history makes it pretty obvious that these are right around the corner.

The launch comes as a bit of a surprise, as Nothing’s latest earbud launch was in April 2024.

Of course, the elephant in the room is the name. Last year’s “Nothing Ear” succeeded the “Nothing Ear (2)” which were a sequel to “Nothing Ear (1).” So, now, the company’s fourth-generation earbuds are going to be called “Nothing Ear (3).”

Does it make sense? Not really, but it was never going to.

Either way, Nothing Ear and the more affordable Ear (a) – it’s unclear if the latter will be getting a sequel – were among the best earbuds on the market since their early 2024 debut, so we’re certainly curious to see how the company will top it.
