The Eufy ‘Marswalker’ is a climbing robot to take your robot vacuum upstairs

Stairs are the enemy of robot vacuums, and Eufy says it has a solution in its new “Marswalker” solution that gives your cleaning robot its own climbing robot.

The Eufy Marswalker is the “world’s first stair-climbing robotic climbing platform” and is set to go on sale during the Spring of 2026. The robot itself doesn’t act as a vacuum or mop, but rather is dedicated to the task of taking your robot vacuum and moving it up or down the stairs as needed.

Designed to work with the Eufy RoboVac Omni S2, the Marswalker has extendable arms and tracked drive to make its way up and down the stairs. It communicates with the robot vacuum to know when cleaning on one floor is done, with the Marswalker then taking the vacuum to the next location.

It’s a wild idea, and Eufy says that it works on straight, L-shaped, and even U-shaped staircases.

Pricing hasn’t been announced just yet, but the Eufy RoboVac Omni S2 – also being announced at IFA – on its own will cost $1,599 for the vacuum/mop and its auto-empty and auto-clean base. Eufy is also claiming another “world’s first” with the S2 by building in support for aromatherapy scents that come out of the robot as it cleans your home.

That’ll go on sale in the US in January 2026.
