YouTube is rolling out a new beta version of its app for Android TV, allowing users in select countries to try out a new build of its big-screen app experience early.
The company announced its new beta program on Google’s support forums. As usual, there’s very little to go off of in terms of what specifically is being tested within this new build. Google only notes it’s looking specific feedback on “anything around usability and performance,” which points towards app optimizations more than fully-baked new features.
If you want to join, you’ll need to be in one of these select countries before clicking this link. Once you’ve joined the program, your Android TV device — including last year’s Google TV Streamer — should receive an update within a few hours. You can opt out at any point by returning to YouTube’s Play Store listing.
