Visible brings back beloved family plan with a new name and one heartbreaking change

Visible is resurrecting a favorite feature that it did away with in 2022, to the disappointment of a fair few users. Visible’s new “Inner Circle” offers savings for friends and families on the same plan, with no strings attached.

Party Pay was a massive benefit for customers on Visible’s network. The feature allowed people to invite others into their “party,” which would then bring down the monthly price for each user. There were no commitments or restrictions. Users didn’t even need to live in the same house.

That was done away with in 2022, when Visible shifted its focus and introduced the currently available Visible+ plan. Now, it looks like it’s changed its mind.

Visible announced that a new family plan feature called the “Inner Circle” is set to launch this month. It essentially replaces the Party Pay feature, without many differences. That includes restriction-free groups up to 7 members, including friends or family. The same individual subscription structure will be revitalized with the feature, but there will be an option to pay for others in the group.

That flexibility will allow multiple families or friends to set up a circle, with one user paying for a few members and others on an individual basis if needed.

There is one change that separates this from the traditional Party Play feature. According to Visible, members can save up to $5/month, but only if they’re part of Visible’s more premium plans. On top of that, it doesn’t look like the discount stacks. Where Visible Party Pay would let you take $5 off for every family member or freind that joined, this offers a static discount, no matter how many users are involved, it seems.

Visible notes that Inner Circle will launch on August 21, so be sure to tell your mom about it.
