Social web aggregator Openvibe has officially added support for RSS feeds within the app, allowing you to keep up to date with all your favorite sites, newsletters, and more.
As lots of people have switched away from Twitter in favor of other spaces like Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, and Nostr, which is why apps like Openvibe are a great catch-all solution for your external social media needs. The application runs great, allows you to crosspost to all of the mentioned platforms, and gets regular updates to add more functionality.

What’s new
We’ve added support for RSS feeds! Now you can now follow even more sources across the open web. Notifications are fixed. GIFs on Threads now display correctly without distortion, and muted words are properly respected throughout the app. Posts with excessive line breaks have been cleaned up, and we’ve fixed a lot of small bugs.
To access the new RSS feed, go to the Profile view in Openvibe and tap “RSS Library.” From here, you can import OPML files if you have existing subscriptions or manually paste in links to add to your feed. You’re able to let articles and posts open within Openvibe or in your default browser if you prefer to have links open in another external app.
The Openvibe 1.13 update isn’t limited to bringing RSS support as it also includes a number of fixes for various bugs, such as timeline skipping, Bluesky notifications have returned after a brief absence, while random logouts for some of your accounts are also now resolved. This latest build is rolling out right now via the Google Play Store.
By adding RSS feeds, Openvibe now provides you with even more ways to get news, media, and tidbits from your favorite accounts, all from one convenient place. You might even want to follow your favorite tech blog posting on various platforms…
