Nothing has an AirPods Max-style case for Headphone (1), but you probably can’t have it

Nothing Headphone (1) bucks a lot of trends in the audio space in terms of design, standing out on its own as unique. In a slight twist, though, Nothing turns out to have made a second Headphone (1) case that’s pretty familiar, because it’s just like the one from AirPods Max.

In the box with Nothing Headphone (1), you’ll get a fabric-lined hard case that houses the headphones as well as any charging or audio cables you might want to have with it. It’s a pretty good case, though admittedly bulky. Yet, it’s the only one available.

Or, at least the only one broadly available.

In a brief video shared to its Arabian TikTok account, Nothing shows a Headphone (1) case we’ve not seen before. The case has the Nothing logo and looks to be designed to solely cover the earcups, with the band exposed out of the top. A flap then “closes” the case.

It looks basically identical to Apple’s infamous AirPods Max case, which works in the same way.

For now, though, there’s no way we can see to buy this case. Nothing appears to be giving these out to Headphone (1) buyers in Dubai this week (starting earlier today). The drop including this case is at SharafDG, Level 2, at the Dubai Mall. It’s unclear if Nothing has plans to sell this case anywhere else.
