Samsung’s latest lineup of foldables might’ve launched just last week, but as a new leak shows, that doesn’t mean we’re done with Galaxy devices for the year.
Noted leaker Evan Blass shared our first look at the upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra on Twitter, alongside our second glimpse at the Galaxy S25 FE. Neither render is particularly high-res but it’s pretty easy enough to make out quite a few changes worth highlighting, especially on the Tab S11 Ultra.
Blass’s photo shows a familiar looking tablet, presumably with the 14.6-inch AMOLED panel Samsung usually uses for the Ultra lineup. That said, unlike last year’s Tab S10 series — which saw Samsung swap from Qualcomm to MediaTek while keeping most of the core elements from the Tab S9 Ultra around — this image does appear to confirm at least a couple of crucial tweaks coming to the Tab S11 Ultra this generation.

Up front, the wider notch used on this slate’s predecessor has been replaced with a rounded U-shaped notch. That presumably means Samsung is dropping its dual front-facing cameras for a single lens, with the ultrawide camera almost certainly the one to go. The bezels look as slim as ever, though I’d be lying if I said that U-shaped notch didn’t make the entire affair look a little cheap. The Tab S9 and S10 Ultra can, at least, point to Apple’s latest MacBooks as the inspiration behind their respective notches — this one reminds me of the Galaxy A-series, despite this tablet likely costing well over $1,000.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is also hiding some changes along the back of the slate: the removal of the dedicated S Pen area. While the render does still show a stylus, it’s hovering over the display. Below the two rear-facing cameras — where the S Pen is usually stored — the color-coded magnetic storage space has been removed.

It’s entirely possible this is simply a design decision, perhaps keeping the S Pen’s magnets in the same location while just dropping the visual signifier. It’s also possible Samsung’s moved its charging location to the side of the tablet, iPad-style. But frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this points to a Bluetooth-less stylus shipping in the box with Samsung’s next tablet, which wouldn’t require a way to recharge. It’d be the latest blow to S Pen fans after the Galaxy S25 Ultra removed Bluetooth from this year’s stylus and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 arrived without support altogether. Only time will tell.
There’s much less to take away from the Galaxy S25 FE render shared here. Like our previous look at the phone, it certainly looks like a modern Samsung device, with three rear-facing cameras aligned vertically along the left side of the device. This year’s bezels seem much slimmer than what shipped on its predecessor — making the entire phone look more premium as a result — though unlike the standard Galaxy S25 series, it does appear that the bottom bezel is slightly disproportional to the rest of the display’s border.
We don’t have much else to go off of right now on either device, but if history’s any indication, we won’t be waiting too much longer for an official release. Expect an early fall launch for both, likely sometime in September or October, alongside the rest of the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are now available for pre-order at Samsung’s website. In addition to saving up to $1,000 in trade-in value, you can score a storage upgrade for free on both devices, and $50 in additional credit for using NewGeekGuide‘s links.
Samsung’s new foldables, alongside the budget-ish Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, and the Galaxy Watch 8 and 8 Classic, start shipping on July 25th.
