Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series surfaces with some camera details, new Galaxy Ring

A new leak offers some insight into Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series, including that there will only be three models, and they might debut alongside a new Galaxy Ring.

WinFuture, citing “relevant databases,” says that the Galaxy S26 series carries the codename “Next Paradigm.” This acts as a direct sequel to the “Paradigm” codename of the Galaxy S25 series. From there, three devices are shown.

“NPA1” is thought to be the base model, with not much information yet available. “NPA2,” meanwhile, would be either the Galaxy S26+ or a Galaxy S26 Edge, with rumors suggesting Samsung may replace the mid-tier Galaxy device with its thinner design. It’s unclear if the poor sales of Galaxy S25 Edge have changed this, but the device would upgrade its ultrawide camera to a 50MP sensor, improving on the 12MP sensors used on S25+ and S25 Edge. Another report from The Elec mentions a Galaxy S26 Edge in place of a “Plus” model.

Finally, “NPA3” would be the Galaxy S26 Ultra, with the top-tier flagship offering a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera, just like S25 Ultra.

The report also mentions “Next Smart Ring” is reference to a Galaxy Ring sequel.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is likely to debut in January.
