The Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip FE are all available to pre-order from Samsung or other storefronts. This guide will break down each pre-order site to find the best deal for Samsung’s new foldables, as well as where you can get great value for your trade-ins.
Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip FE pre-orders
As opposed to other years, Samsung is actually making serious changes to the Galaxy Z Fold. The phone takes on a slimmer design that more directly competes with what other OEMs are doing. The Z Fold 7 now offers a solid alternative to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold or the OnePlus Open, and with Samsung’s One UI 8 launching on these devices, the phone will almost certainly be one of Samsung’s best devices yet.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip FE are similarly improved, and the biggest change is the introduction of the Flip “Fan Edition and a much slimmer Flip 7 model. The FE variant brings a more affordable version of the clamshell foldable to the table. It’ll likely be a good option for users who want the convenience of a folding phone without the price tag.

Beyond simple improvements, Samsung is offering some really good deals for those who pre-order. First off, NewGeekGuide links give an extra $50 credit on top of the $300 instant credit if you choose not to trade a device in ($50 credit expires after 30 minutes). If you do, Samsung is boosting trade-in amounts up to $1,000, which means devices sent in will get you more off the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7/Flip 7 FE.
As with every other launch, Samsung is keeping the free storage upgrade around, too. That means a 512GB Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs the same as a 256GB device. It’s a good way to get the extra capacity for free on top of the new phone.
Where to pre-order Samsung’s new foldable and watches
Samsung’s deals are generally much better around a launch, and trade-in values are much higher, making it a pretty solid time to get the company’s newest flagships directly from its website. Alternatively, other storefronts will sell the devices with the same free storage upgrade, though trade-ins or other credits are not as large.

Samsung
As mentioned, Samsung’s deals are generally the best if you’re buying without a contract or if you have a device to trade. The Galaxy Z Fold comes in at $2,119, but it can come down to as little as $999. That’s a $1,120 discount off a brand-new Galaxy Z Fold 7 with a pre-order. In terms of foldables, that isn’t bad.
The Galaxy Z Flip 7 is around $499 with a trade-in, assuming you’re trading in a Z Flip 6. It might be worth it for the extra cover screen space and new third-party support.
The real benefit comes from trade-in offers and extra credit for accessories. Even if you don’t trade something in, Samsung will give you a $300 discount. Outside of pre-orders, that doesn’t happen.
Buying either device also gets you 20% off the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic or 24% off the Galaxy Watch 8.
Amazon
Amazon is the only other retailer really offering comparable discounts. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is listed for $1,199 with a $300 Amazon gift card.
Best Buy
Best Buy doesn’t seem to be offering amazing deals this year for the Z Flip or Z Fold series. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is $120 off, and there doesn’t look to be a credit attached. Buying the Galaxy Z Flip 7 gets you a $200 gift card. Amazon doesn’t do trade-ins, so there are the best prices you’ll find from the storefront.
Verizon
If you’re looking to buy a Z Fold 7 or Z Flip 7 on contract, Verizon is offering a free Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7 with a trade-in and a signup for Unlimited Ultimate. The offer is generally considered a good one if you know you already want the plan and have a device to trade.
Verizon will also throw in a Galaxy Watch 8 for free for 26 months. Just be sure to read the terms for any carrier’s offerings.
AT&T
AT&T offers a similar story to Verizon. The Fold 7 and Flip 7 are heavily discounted if you activate a new plan or upgrade. The Fold 7, for instance, is $1,100 off with an eligible trade-in.
Overall, Samsung is going to be the best bet for a good deal when pre-ordering the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7. It’s offering good trade-in deals with a solid credit added on, even if you don’t have something to trade. Samsung’s new foldables aren’t cheap, by any means, but the best offering right now will come from Samsung’s own website or even Amazon. Other than that, a contract might be the way to go if you’re looking for a monthly plan.
