People were confused when the Galaxy S25 Edge launched at over $1000, but it’s a much more palatable purchase at a heavily discounted $799 over on Amazon right now.
Despite the thinner size, this is a flagship device in pretty much every way. It has a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display at 120Hz, an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor, and 12GB of RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage. It runs on top of Snapdragon 8 Elite – the full 8-core version – and has three total cameras. There’s a 200MP main camera on the back, the same one as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, as well as a 12MP ultrawide camera. Another 12MP camera is available for selfies, but there’s no telephoto lens.
The only sore point might be the 3,900mAh battery. However, the SoC is a very efficient chip and you’re clearly wanting the thinnest phone possible if you’re looking the Galaxy S25 Edge over other phones on the market – it’s actually 30% thinner than the excellent Galaxy S25 Ultra.

In all honesty, had Samsung launched the S25 Edge at $799, there probably wouldn’t have been many complaints. That means if you had the patience to wait, you’ll pick up it up a price that is infinitely more palatable.
It’s hard not to argue that the OnePlus 13, which is on sale for $779, might be a better overall buy if you want the latest smartphone technology. Alternatively, you can grab the Galaxy S25 for just $659 or the S25 Ultra for just $949.99 if you want all the bells and whistles.
