Galaxy Watch Ultra is 50% off as its barely-different sequel nears

Samsung is preparing to launch a new update to the Galaxy Watch Ultra, but it’s barely different. So, with that in mind, Samsung’s Prime Day deal on the existing Galaxy Watch Ultra is pretty compelling, as the smartwatch is 50% off with no strings attached.

Galaxy Watch Ultra launched last year as Samsung’s high-end, fitness-focused smartwatch in the same vein as the Apple Watch Ultra. The unique design and additional button brought some meaningful upgrades to Samsung’s smartwatch experience, and it seems to be inspiring more changes in the upcoming Galaxy Watch 8 series.

Samsung has a new “Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025)” set to debut this week, but it’s not rumored to make any big changes. It might have more storage and maybe some minor hardware tweaks (including a new color), but it overall looks like the same smartwatch.

That’s why Samsung’s Prime Day deal on Galaxy Watch Ultra is so compelling.

Across both its Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray color variants, Amazon has the Galaxy Watch Ultra discounted by 50%. That takes the smartwatch from its usual $649 price down to just $325. It’s not been hard in the past to get that sort of price, but Samsung’s deals usually required a trade-in to get the full discount.

The discount is also matched at Walmart.

Samsung has a bunch of other offers at Amazon as well this week, including up to 45% off of select Galaxy Z Fold 6 configurations, $300 off of the Galaxy S25 Edge (yes, the one that just debuted several weeks ago), $200 off of Galaxy S25, $300 off of Galaxy Z Flip 6, and $350 off Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung has reservations open now for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, as well as Galaxy Watch 8 series, with a $50 credit when you pre-order and up to $1,150+ in savings. Reservations are free, and there’s no obligation to actually buy a device if you sign up, but there’s no other time you can get that $50 credit (which can go towards Galaxy Watch 8), 3x reward points, and other perks.
