Android Auto 14.6 update is now more widely rolling out

Google is rolling out its Android Auto 14.6 update more widely, not long after the prior update.

Following the wide debut of Android Auto 14.5 earlier this week, Google is now rolling out Android Auto 14.6 more widely. The faster rollout here seems to be, in part, due to Google having a slight gap in its beta releases earlier this month.

What does Android Auto 14.6 bring?

Not much!

Like most Android Auto version updates, this latest patch doesn’t have user-facing features, nor any confirmed bug fixes. In most cases, these updates are about fixing niche bugs that only affect a certain number of users in specific vehicles or with specific devices.

Google started rolling out this update earlier this month, but it only went wide earlier this week, right after v14.5 was widely rolled out. Android Auto 14.7 is also currently in beta, and that one sets the stage for the light theme rollout we’ve been expecting for some time now.
