Latest Galaxy Z Fold 7 leak leaves very little to the imagination [Gallery]

With just two weeks to go until Samsung’s next Unpacked, we’re getting our best — and most colorful — look yet at the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Evan Blass, hot off sharing renders for both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Watch 8 series, has revealed seemingly official renders of Samsung’s next foldable on his Substack, and it’s looking pretty sharp. While there isn’t a ton of new information to be gleamed from these images specifically — Samsung’s upcoming lineup has been leaking like crazy — it goes a long way in confirming everything we’ve heard about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 over the past few weeks, including its three color choices.

As usual, Samsung is keeping things fairly drab with its most premium smartphones, offering familiar black and silver colorways that wouldn’t look out of place in a boardroom. Thankfully, unlike last year’s Navy, this year’s “Blue Shadow” looks vibrant and punchy — at least, judging by these renders. While we’ll have to wait to find out whether this color translates well to actual in-person units, but it’s a promising look at a pretty good-looking device. Unfortunately, there’s still no sign of that Samsung.com-exclusive “Green Mint” shade that recently leaked.

Otherwise, as with Blass’s previous posts, these renders give us some good insight into what the Z Fold 7 looks like from every angle. It’s slim — albeit not record-setting — profile is paired with a larger, protruding camera module, while the main display loses its under-display camera. It’s a modern evolution of the design Samsung first rolled out with last year’s Z Fold 6, and in what’s turning out to be a very slow year for foldables in North America specifically, I think it’s going to go a long way in standing out.

Samsung has reservations open now for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, with a $50 credit when you pre-order and up to $1,150+ in savings. Reservations are free, and there’s no obligation to actually buy a device if you sign up, but there’s no other time you can get that $50 credit (which can go towards Galaxy Watch 8), 3x reward points, and other perks.
