Samsung is clearing out discounted Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units as sequels near

Samsung’s next-gen Galaxy Z Fold devices appear to be launching next month. Right now, existing Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units are on sale, and Samsung is looking to clear space for the influx of new units. That means substantial Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 discounts without a trade-in.

We know very little about the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but Samsung is setting it up to be a tremendous release. Recent teasers have shown off thickness and fancy silhouettes, but the design remains a mystery under a new “Ultra” moniker.

The company appears to be making space for that event, too.

It appears that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are completely out of stock in the UK, while the US still has devices left to sell off. Right now, Samsung is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 6 at a $400 discount without a trade-in, which is a pretty good deal. The Z Flip 6 comes in at a lesser discount, though trade-ins are boosted to $700.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been a favorite foldable, even amongst competitors like the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold or the OnePlus Open. In 2025, it’s kicking strong and will be set up to get the latest version of One UI for the foreseeable future, considering it’s been promised seven years of software updates, and it’s currently in year one.

This deal seems to be limited to the US while Samsung sells off the rest of its stock. That $400 off can be obtained by heading to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 page and scrolling down to the trade-in section. Hit “No” to activate that $400 off.

There is no word on how many are left and when Samsung will shut down sales for the device altogether. As mentioned, stock is already gone from the UK store.

If you are inclined, some of the trade-in offerings are pretty good, too, though it may be better to get the Fold 6 for the discounted price and sell your previous device. Further, trade-in estimates are higher between single generation gaps, so having the Fold 6 on hand means the Fold 7 becomes cheaper, if it’s worth upgrading at all.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will very likely be out of stock after this initial wave is gone, and the Z Fold 7 will take its place on Samsung’s website.
