What’s new in Android’s June 2025 Google System Updates [U: 6/30]

The monthly “Google System Release Notes” primarily detail what’s new in Play services, Play Store, and Play system update across Android phones/tablets, Wear OS, Google/Android TV, Auto, and PC. Some features apply to end users, while others are aimed at developers.

Google Wallet’s Material 3 Expressive redesign started rolling out last week, but the company has made it official with version 25.25 for Play services. As a reminder, it often takes some time for features announced in this changelog to roll out to users even if they have the specified app update.
