Samsung hints that its first Android 16 beta for Galaxy is launching imminently

It’s no secret that Samsung is going to launch its Android 16 update in the very near future – despite having just released its Android 15 update – and now the company’s own website is showing that the beta is right around the corner.

Samsung confirmed earlier this month during “The Android Show” festivities that One UI 8 with Android 16 would launch in the “Summer.” That made rumors regarding a May release for the One UI 8 beta make a lot more sense and, now, we’re seeing the first hints of this.

Through Samsung’s website, multiple pages related to the One UI 8 beta with Android 16 were spotted for the Galaxy S25 series. Tarun Vats, a notorious Samsung leaker, first highlighted the page going live in the US earlier this week, and it has since shown up in Germany, the UK, India, and Poland.

While the page itself doesn’t reveal anything about One UI 8, its existence confirms that Samsung is getting things ready behind the scenes for the beta’s release. This same pattern has been seen time and time again with Samsung’s new OS releases.

The stable release of One UI 8 is expected to launch on the company’s new foldables in July.
