The Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch on May 12, meaning the most recent leaks cropping up are literal hours before Samsung officially announces the phone. The Galaxy S25 Edge is ultra-thin, and new leaks showcase the phone in-hand next to the flagship S25 Ultra.
At 5.8mm thick, the Galaxy S25 Edge is set to be one of Samsung’s thinnest flagship devices, carrying a controversial name that already has a place in the company’s history. The phone is set to be slightly smaller than the S25 Ultra at 6.7 inches with a Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 display, according to previous leaks.

In new photos courtesy of Android Headlines, new images showcase the Galaxy S25 Edge next to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. These images include a dummy pre-production unit of the phone, though the source emphasizes that the dimensions are identical to the unreleased model. The images show off the phone’s three color variants: Titanium Silver, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Jet Black.
Next to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the phone looks slightly thinner. In reality, the S25 Ultra is only a few millimeters thicker than the new ultra-thin phone, so a side-by-side comparison can offer only so much comparison. Still, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is thin for its spec sheet, and an even thinner device carrying a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and 12GB of RAM next to it is still impressive.
To get a better idea, looking at the USB-C port on the phone offers a better reference. The amount of material between the port and panels of the phone is minimal, similar to half of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. In essence, this phone is a similar thickness to its foldable counterpart when fully opened.
The images also give us a good look at the camera bar, which houses a new protrusion where Samsung couldn’t cut the thickness down to 5.8mm.
