Motorola Razr (2025) pre-orders are now open, free Clicks keyboard case at Best Buy

Following its announcement late last month, Motorola Razr (2025) series pre-orders are now officially open, and you can score a killer freebie at one retailer too.

To quickly recap the Razr (2025) series, the hardware is largely similar to last year. The base Razr (2025) has a smaller outer display, an updated MediaTek chipset, a larger battery, and some new colors. The Razr+ (2025) gets an improved hinge, but nothing else as it’s running on the same chipset, displays, cameras, and battery as the prior generation. The big news this time is the Razr Ultra, a flagship-tier foldable that runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite, has new cameras, stronger specs, and some unique finishes that use wood and Alcantara materials.

As of today, pre-orders are open for the Motorola Razr (2025) series. The base model starts at $699, the Plus at $999, and the Ultra at $1,299. All three have an “expected” ship date of May 19 on Motorola’s website, though the actual release date is May 15. Best Buy says orders will arrive on “release day,” referring to the 15th. Amazon promises delivery on the same date.

Best Buy (free Clicks case, $100 off with carrier activation)

Best Buy might by the best buy of the bunch, though. The retailer has partnered with Clicks to include a free keyboard case with all Razr (2025) orders through June 1, as announced by Clicks co-founder Jeff Gadway on LinkedIn. The promo includes the $140 case with all three variants of the device, with the Razr Ultra’s case also being a new addition to the Clicks lineup. The keyboard accessory launched in 2023 for iPhone and has since expanded to Google’s Pixel 9 and 9 Pro, Motorola Razr (2024), and will also be coming to the Galaxy S25 later this year.

The retailer is offering $100 off all three devices if you activate with your carrier through Best Buy.

You can also get up to $600 in trade-in value at Best Buy. Motorola is also offering a $200 trade-in minimum on “most” devices via its website as well as a free storage upgrade.
