The May 2025 update “contains a bootloader update that increments the anti-roll back version for the bootloader.” This safety feature “prevents the device from rolling back to previous vulnerable versions of the bootloader.” This applies to Pixel 6 (6, 6 Pro, 6a) and Pixel 8 (8, 8 Pro, 8a) devices
After flashing the May 2025 update on these devices you won’t be able to flash and boot older Android 15 builds.

I was really hoping that Bluetooth fixes would address intermittent pairing issue with various car, headset and speaker systems. I have been having them since the September or October update and nothing seems to fix it, including a full device reset.
In certain apps, like WhatsApp (but not Google Messages), some users reported the recording output being very low. Meanwhile, some users saw “Torch” in Quick Settings instead of “Flashlight,” while it was also “Aeroplane mode.”
