One UI 7 rollout resumes globally for Galaxy S24 and foldables, older devices still waiting

After resuming in Korea last week, Samsung has once again fired up the rollout of One UI 7 on various Galaxy devices around the globe. Here’s what you need to know.

Samsung kicked off the global rollout of One UI 7 on April 10, only to pause it a few days later due to undisclosed reasons (suspected to be a bug with the lockscreen). The rollout started back up in Korea last week, but is now heading back to the global market.

Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are eligbile for the update first, with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 close behind. The stable update has been spotted rolling out again in India (via SamMobile), the US (via SammyGuru), and the EU as well. Updated builds for Galaxy S25 series are also now available.

However, older Galaxy devices are still waiting. Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and other devices are not yet seeing the update outside of Korea. Presumably, that could start later this week or sometime next week, but Samsung’s schedule has been up in the air. The official schedule mentions these devices being updated in May.
