Samsung’s April 2025 update rolling out to these Galaxy devices amid One UI 7 delays

Samsung is taking advantage of its April 2025 security update to also deliver One UI 7 to some Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy April 2025 update – What’s new?

The latest monthly update for Galaxy devices will vary in terms of what it delivers to everyone. For some devices, this update brings the long-awaited One UI 7 update. For others, it’s just a run-of-the-mill security patch. Below, we’ve broken down if One UI 7 is included with this latest update.

For all devices, though, there’s a long list of security patches. Most notably, there are four “Critical” patches included in this latest update for Android in general, with a fifth patch being specific to devices using Samsung chips. There are over 30 other “High” priority patches also included.

Samsung has been rolling out the April 2025 update for a few weeks at this point, but the update isn’t as broadly available as others have simply due to the ongoing One UI 7 rollout.
