Android 16 Beta adds Pixel Battery health

With work dating back to October 2022, Google Pixel devices now have a “Battery health” stats page with Android 16 Beta 3.

To access on Android 16, go to Settings app > Battery > Battery health. This page lets you “View battery health status and tips to extend your battery’s lifespan” as we previously shared

As part of Battery health, Charging optimization has been moved from the main menu to the very bottom of this page.

So far, we’re seeing Battery health on the Pixel 9 series and the Pixel 8 Pro.

This new page joins how you can check Device temperature from Battery > Battery diagnostics > Phone is very warm, as well as About phone > Battery information to see Cycle count.
