Sever your Google Nest Mini into Severance’s ‘The Board’ speaker

It’s wild that Apple hasn’t released official Severance merchandise at this point, but the fan community is filling that role with a case that turns your Nest Mini into Lumon’s Board speaker.

This 3D printed accessory (Severance Board Speaker Replica) on Etsy looks very similar to the speaker that appears throughout the show.

You remove the front speaker grill, which is magnetic, to place your Google Home or Nest Mini inside the rear cavern. There’s a circular hole in the back to slide in and attach the power cable. Besides the grid of holes on the front plate, you have some grills on the rear to allow for microphone input and audio output. You of course lose access to the touch surface with this accessory. Other neat aspects include:

  • “Carefully sanded, smoothed with isopropyl alcohol, and hand-painted using high-quality spray paint, this case offers a smooth, professional finish that feels like a real Lumon-issued corporate device.”
  • “Screen-Accurate Colors – Classic Lumon white with a blue perforated front panel”
  • “Durable & Lightweight – 3D-printed from high-quality PLA for an authentic corporate relic feel”

This Severance Nest Mini speaker case is $69.99 from MacroVersePrints on Etsy, which also sells other show accessories.

Again, Apple TV+ should really sell merch for the popular show. Until then, Keychron’s Q line of mechanical keyboards in blue look at lot like the MDR inputs.
